There appears to be some change in then UR rules ( penalties) that give me some hope that the WC system will begin correcting early next year. What changes if any do you see in 2006?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for starting the forum. Perhaps the most significant change in UR are the new fines for illegal denaials - if they are enforced by judges and frivilous delay penalties
Also, a group of doctors are setting up depositions for adjusters that illegally deny. They expect to embarress the bad ones, prove their willing, knowing, and illegal activity, and then turn them over the to the DA. This should curb some of the illegal activity!
